Dance Party

This is very similar to an earlier post with lots of jumping on the couch to techno music, aka DANCE PARTY!  However, we've been working on our routine and you'll notice the addition of 'the tree.'  I also love Miles' announcement 'here it comes' as the music starts ramping up again. Enjoy! 

Playground

Wonderful little playground about a block away from Grandma Mimi's house.  It was the perfect size-built for preschoolers.  Miles had so much fun exploring his physical abilities and even pushing the envelope now and then.  He also began to fully embrace the idea that slides are actually fun.  hooray!

On the Hunt

Easter egg hunt #2 at my step-brother's house.  We had an Easter brunch there with the family and then they staged a fun egg hunt for all the kids.  They gave the little ones a head start which was nice and since Miles ended up on the unoccupied side of the yard, he was having no trouble filling up his basket!  This all took place on the day we flew home.  So weird to start the day in one state and be home for bedtime in another!

Easter- Take 1

First official outdoor Easter egg hunt for Miles. He took to it quite quickly. I had to do a fair bit of running in the beginning to get him to a spot away from older kids (you know how it goes-those kids are fast!), but in the end, he had just enough loot to make him happy!

Trip to Louisiana to visit Grandma Mimi

Sam was so sweet and gentle with Miles. He has a younger brother, David, who is very close to Miles in age and his experience with little ones shone through. Sam was making up elaborate games and trying to get Miles involved. I'd say he had very little success, but Miles enjoyed watching him.

Pushing the stroller on a walk around the neighborhood. Honestly, Miles spent more time pushing this stroller, both in the house and on walks.
