Cinco de Mayo

Jessie and Shawn made these incredible cookies for our Cinco de Mayo party.  This also happens to be my only picture of said event.  Anyway, they are pinata cookies-totally 3-dimensional and FILLED with tiny little candies, like a pinata, a completely edible pinata!!  Needless to say, these were a hit and deserving of their own post due to the amount of hard work and patience it takes to make them!  Thanks you two! And thank you Craig for cooking the entire meal-by yourself.  And, lastly, thanks to everyone who made it to our festivities, we loved seeing you all!

For the Valas

This happened today, after naps.  Isaac was vehemently shoving 'trash' into the play kitchen.  I personally love his crazy hair and complementary expression.  He was VERY SERIOUS about his trash duties.  Turns out the fire part was from Toy Story 3, which I discovered after the camera was turned off.  He was in quite the mood today and I think this captured a little sense of it.  :)  (pretty hilarious!)

Shenanigans

Visit to Farmington

This is Leah's new sister, baby Kate  I asked both kids if they would stand next to her.  As you can see, the answer was 'no.' Oh well, I did ask, so that's what I get I guess!

And this is the picture of Miles and Leah together.  Still batting zero.  sigh.

I'm calling this the first official structure (not just a road :-) that Miles built totally by himself!
