Dad was thinking on his feet
We headed into town on Saturday morning, only to find that I, the sun shade nazi, had forgotten to bring Miles' hat. Problem solved.
Lakeside Retreat
Most of Miles' time at the lake was spent like this:
However, we did slather on the sunscreen at some point and venture into the lake for a little fun. The proof:
It doesn't look like it, but we are standing in the water, which was FREEZING. There were a few weird pockets of warmth here and there and Miles enjoyed splashing his feet a bit.

Lurker
Unfortunately, I missed the shot when this deer had her nose pressed against the glass. I think she would have walked right into the cabin given the chance. The deer are very plentiful and very tame at Wallowa Lake. It's weird.
