Early Spring

A little respite in the weather this March found us at Tracy Aviary. Here you can see the very bold, will do anything for food, pigeons we found by the duck pond.  Miles was thrilled beyond measure to see "wild" birds climbing all over us.  All it took was a little of the duck food from the dispensers.  

Checking out the birds in the Amazon exhibit.  My favorite thing about this photo (which unfortunately doesn't have audio), is that Craig was being the voice of the birds and Miles was having conversations with them.  

It's the simple things

In an attempt to get out of the house in February, we took a trip to The Home Depot.  It was our lucky day...they were serving popcorn and happened to be using the forklift to move some stuff around.  Miles had a front row seat, perfection!

Valentine's Day 2013

We opened the front door on Valentine's Day and discovered some treats left by Jessie and Shawn.  Can you tell this made his morning?!

Escape to Park City

HOLD ON!  I just figured out how to get pictures off my phone and on to the blog.  (Miles, if you are reading this some day, as I hope you will, you now have permission to do an eye roll!) I know, I know, technology.  So, now  I will try to fill in the gaps and maybe go back in time here and there, because for quite some time I have only been taking pics with my phone.  

This lovely photo was taken this winter when we tried to escape the HORRIBLE inversion and air quality (Feb. 2013).  It was supremely bad this year.  This is in Park City, where the air was clear and the vibe delightful!  Sunny skies and good breathing. 

Goofball!

Aunt Stephanie came into town in April to help us out with Miles while we went to a friend's wedding.  In the downtime, there was lots of craziness, running around and playing 'goofball,' a game where Miles throws piles of pillows, blankets and animals on top of Stephanie.  Here you can see a bit of the fun!
