Six months old!

Half a year. wow! The biggest news is that Miles rolled over on Monday (4/26/10). It was very exciting. I can't imagine what crawling, walking and all the other firsts are going to be like. Of course, he has done it exactly three times. No more. I've been trying desperately to catch it on film, but he is just not interested in any more of that silly rolling over.

In other news, basically, we feel very blessed to have a happy, healthy little guy. He squeals up a storm, loves to kick, is an expert at shaking his toys and making lots of noise with them, loves the dogs, is getting quicker to laugh and chuckle, has mastered the art of the short nap and is generally ready to grab out for anything in his line of vision. He has amazing concentration and will study and 'work' at his toys for long stints. He also enjoys his books-mainly grabbing at the pictures and chewing on the corners, but it's a start! Oh and he mastered the fine art of the raspberry this weekend. Lots of pfffffftttts around here!

It's getting harder

Getting these shots is not as easy. We have a happy, wiggly baby on our hands. Oh, and he likes to eat paper (way more than food!). Behold:

Carrot round two

A little action footage of Miles actually putting some food in his mouth. Oh, and we found something he actually likes-cantaloupe. He was very excited to suck on a piece on a recent outing to a restaurant. Otherwise, he has ZERO interest in food. ZERO. Which is fine, plenty of time for eating later!

My next knitting project is finished. Have I mentioned this is my new addiction. Seriously, I have to stay OUT of the yarn store!

Helping Mama by testing all the seams. So far, it's holding up, but then again, it's only day 1.

Introducing Milosh

This was the next knitting project I tackled after Miles' hat. He seems to enjoy his new friend!

I reserve special bragging rights for the hat. It was not part of the pattern at all...I totally made it up-on my own! :-)

Happy baby!
