Trying to breathe

Last week found Salt Lake buried in an inversion. This means we had quite a few 'red' days with very high particulate counts. Ultimately, they warn you to drive less, exercise less and if it were possible, breathe less. It's quite disgusting. The only respite is the mountains. So, we loaded up the car and gave it a try.

Starting out on our hike. Isn't Aunt Mary nice to carry the babe? She wants an extra workout and who am I to argue! :-)

YES!!! Sunshine and fresh air. Our lungs and psyches were so grateful. Miles actually dozed off for a portion of the hike, so good for his psyche too!
