Yes! That is a goat AND Miles is petting it!! We went to baby animal days at This is the Place monument park yesterday. The weather was lousy and Miles was teething, but this was the perfect distraction. Not so much for the baby animals, but more for the wide, bumpy roads, rocks, sticks and hills to run around on. Oh, and let's not forget the little bridge inside the goat pen. He went over it again and again and again and....well, you get the picture! He loves practicing inclines, declines, stairs and any challenging footing-like ruts and bumps in the road. It's great for his motor skills, so if we have the time (and we usually do :-) ), I say- 'why not?' As for the goat, I have no idea why he was so brave. Perhaps because they were laying down and not making noise or looking at him. Who knows? He also touched a baby bunny and chick. It's certainly not his favorite thing, but he did give it the 'ole college try!
